Digital Circus VAs doing their usual schtick in a vaguely "hell-themed" (Y2K mallgoth) environment, really daring stuff here I might just disembowel myself from how risky this kind of stuff is.

The character designs are very bold, appealing and identifiable, the one saving grace of this.

The gore is kinda softballed and quite lacking tbh, if there's gonna be constant pauses in what should be high octane action scenes with tons of violence then the actual violence that does occur should be striking to make up for that, but ultimately it doesn't.

Though I don't have the heart to fully blam this, I can tell that there is a good idea bubbling beneath the surface of platitudes & indie cliches but I don't have any hopes of seeing that.

utterly haunted, non-romantic, spectral, ghastly, ghoulish, IV'd to the rotting, pus-spewing core brimstone from the depths of hell that DAMNED the portal for years to come

this game really sucks how am I supposed to enjoy this without quick time events and jiggle physics?

I went in expecting a standard Punch-Out!! styled game made in Flash but this went above and beyond, the DOOMesque 3D graphics work really well for this and the mouse controlling the way you dodge and punch is peak design. My only complaints are that some fighters require you to take mandatory damage to beat them (Super Hik) or have incredibly gimmicky boring strategies (Chappy). The final boss was a letdown, as most Punch-Out!! titles have the final boss being a test of everything you've learned but there wasn't much of utilizing anything other than having lightning fast reflexes, once you get used to the speed of the only 2 punches they have it becomes a joke.

The training minigames are quite easy to max out and I didn't notice any difference between 10 and 0 on both power and footwork, plus they kinda take away from the boss rush experience, but they're completely optional so I won't complain that much. The walkthrough videos are completely gone, which I should've expected as this is a game from 2012, but since every fighter is relatively simple to figure out I'll excuse the lack of a walkthrough under the guise of "git gud" and hosting them on sites other than Youtube.

This is definitely worth adding to anyone's .SWF collection, especially if they're a fan of Punch-Out!!

A true classic to me, I always loved how it wasn't a "set it and forget it" type of TD game and how you yourself had to control where and how you shoot.

"What are they watching?" probably something really stupid like a silicon baby having their eyes stretched open to the point they fall out.

"Booyah!"

"Booyah!"

It's scary to see what nature can create.
